The Franciscan Sisters of St. Mary of the Angels (FSMA) are a Catholic religious congregation inspired by the example of St. Francis of Assisi. Their mission is rooted in compassion, humility, and selfless service — particularly through education and care for the marginalised.
The FSMA sisters arrived in Dibrugarh on June 7, 2016, and inaugurated this school with a vision to serve the local community — especially children who might otherwise be excluded from quality education. Their presence continues to be the spiritual and moral backbone of Assisi Niketan Convent School.
Assisi Niketan Convent School is a community shaped by values, driven by purpose. Admissions open for Session 2026–27.
